The main hall and worship hall, rebuilt in 1425, are designated as National Treasures and feature a unique architectural style called "Kibitsu-zukuri," the only one of its kind in Japan. The greatest highlight is the massive 360-meter-long wooden corridor that stretches in a straight line along the mountain's terrain. This beautiful corridor creates mystical scenery along with seasonal flowers and fascinates travelers from all over the world as an Instagrammable spot. The "Narukama Ritual," the root of the Momotaro legend, is also famous. It is a sanctuary symbolizing the depth of Japanese culture, integrating history, architecture, and mystical mythology.

Bitchu Takamatsu Castle Ruins

This castle site is engraved in history for the "Water Attack," an astonishing tactic used by Toyotomi Hideyoshi during the Sengoku period. Tsukuriyama Kofun

Built in the 5th century, this is a massive keyhole-shaped burial mound boasting a total length of about 350 meters, making it the 4th largest in Japan. Surprisingly, despite its scale, it is an extremely rare place where visitors are still permitted to climb and walk on top of the mound. Standing on the massive earthwork, you can experience the overwhelming power of the rulers of that time. Senzoku Kofun

This is one of the satellite mounds (baizuka) associated with the massive Tsukuriyama Burial Mound. Inside the stone chamber, there is a barrier carved with ancient geometric patterns called "Chokkomon," which holds extremely high archaeological value. Through recent excavation and preservation efforts, visitors can learn about its precious structure in detail.
