Selected as one of the "Top 100 Terraced Rice Fields in Japan," this is a beautiful scenic spot representing Yamaguchi Prefecture. Against the backdrop of the blue Sea of Japan stretching below, numerous rice paddies overlapping along the mountain slopes draw geometric patterns. Especially from mid-May to June, when the paddies are filled with water, the sunset is breathtakingly beautiful. The setting sun reflects off the water surface, and at night, the "Isaribi" (fishing fires) of squid fishing boats light up offshore, creating a fantastical panorama where the lights of the sea and land melt together. Many photographers from around the world gather to capture this mystical sight, making it a photogenic sanctuary. It is a place where you can encounter the ultimate beauty woven by natural formative art and traditional Japanese agricultural culture.
