Tai-nei-ji Temple in Nagato City is a famous temple of the Soto sect founded in 1410, and was once called the "Koyasan of the West," holding high prestige. It is also known as the place where the powerful lord of the Warring States period, Yoshitaka Ouchi, spent his last moments, conveying the multilayered stories of history to this day.
