Ichinomata Cherry Blossom Park in the mountains of Shimonoseki City is a "hidden spectacular view spot" known for its fantastical landscape woven by submerged dead trees, clear water surfaces, and cherry blossoms blooming in spring. Cherry trees line the shores of the dam lake, and on clear, windless days, the cherry blossoms and dead trees reflect upside down in the mirror-like water, creating a mysterious scene as if from a fantasy movie.
