Kodakarajima, located in the southern part of the Tokara Islands (Toshima Village), is a secret flat isolated island formed by the beautiful uplift of coral reefs, which is very compact with a circumference of only about 1 kilometer. When you look up at the island from afar, the giant rock in the center looks like a "pregnant woman (woman carrying a child)" lying down, so it is also famous as a sacred power spot for fertility. The biggest highlight is the natural outdoor bath "Yodomari Onsen," where hot spring water gushes out directly from the rough rock surface along the coast, and the bath while overlooking the deep blue Pacific Ocean, becoming one with the sea, is supreme healing. It is a paradise known only to those in the know, wrapped in the simple vitality of the earth and deep silence.
