Matagawasu, a small uninhabited island (reef area) that stands further offshore from Chiringashima in Ibusuki City, where untouched primitive beautiful natural scenery remains intact, is a dynamic scenic spot in a secret region known only to those in the know, floating alone in the calm sea of the East China Sea (Kinko Bay). The contrast between the rough rock surface carved by the erosion of waves over staggering years and the beautiful greenery growing as if clinging to it is truly wild art created by great nature. The surrounding sea has very high transparency, and it has become a hidden sacred place where top-class sea kayak and SUP paddlers enjoy great adventures, passing quietly between the islands. It is a place farthest from the noise of the city, where you can luxuriously monopolize the dynamism of the sea.
