Cape Komo, located at the southernmost tip of Ainan Town and projecting grandly into the Uwa Sea, is a remote edge sacred site filled with wild natural energy, boasting an overwhelmingly scale spectacular view where you can overlook the vast horizon of the Pacific Ocean. Sheer rock precipice cliffs exceeding 100 meters altitude continue endlessly along the coastline, and the sight of fierce waves crashing against them with white spray lets you directly experience the earth's powerful dynamism. A lawn of sasa bamboo spreads across the ridge of the cape, providing the ultimate feeling of openness as you stroll along the walking path with nothing blocking the wind. Hawks can also be seen soaring in the sky in autumn, and on clear days, you can look out as far as Kyushu—a place farthest removed from city hustle.
