Characterized by a heavy Japanese-style building incorporating Asuka-period architectural styles, stepping inside reveals a cutting-edge modern art space utilizing Ehime's proud traditional crafts such as "Tobe-yaki," "Awa Washi" (including neighboring traditional ones), and "Imabari Towel." It features an open-air "outdoor bath" with free-flowing hot spring water not available at the main building, a special family bath meticulously reproducing the imperial private bathhouse "Yushinden," and a spacious lounge to enjoy tea and sweets wearing a yukata.
