Yashimaru, born on the summit of Mt. Yashima in 2022, is an impressive architectural structure with a curved beauty designed to blend into the surrounding landscape. The corridor-like building, stretching about 200 meters, is built to undulate along the terrain, allowing visitors to feel a sense of unity with the trees and sky just by walking. Inside, there are exhibits introducing the history and nature of Yashima, panorama art, and an observation space to stimulate intellectual curiosity. Especially the sunset over the Seto Inland Sea and the night view of Takamatsu City from the glass-walled corridor provide a special experience where modern architectural beauty and natural views merge.
