Located on the eastern side of Suo-Oshima Island, this roadside station is a lively spot with an open sea stretching in front and palm trees creating a tropical resort atmosphere. You can enjoy the rich local food all at once, including soft-serve ice cream and juice made from the island's specialty "mikan" (mandarin oranges), as well as fresh seafood caught in the Seto Inland Sea. On weekends, many stalls line up, creating a festive liveliness. From the back, you can also see the path of sand leading to Shingu Island, making it ideal not only as a break during a drive but also as a base for sightseeing. You can feel the bright and open "Island Hospitality" unique to Suo-Oshima, which has deep exchanges with Hawaii.
