Yoroi-iwa & Kabuto-iwa

Unique rocks found along the coastline of Chibu Village, formed by volcanic rock being eroded over many years. They are called so because they resemble the scale patterns of "Armor" (Yoroi) and the shape of a "Helmet" (Kabuto) worn by Japanese samurai. One cannot help but feel the mysteries of the Earth seeing such regular and brave forms created solely by natural forces.
