A "Park of the Earth" where you can experience earth's evolution and the formation process of the Sea of Japan, centered on a 120 km coastline stretching from Kyoto to Tottori. In the Tottori area, the complex rias coastline seen at Uradome Coast, strange rocks carved by waves, and the highly transparent sea are the greatest highlights. If you observe the topography from the sea by canoe or sightseeing boat, you can feel the breath of the earth from tens of millions of years ago. Not just natural landscapes, the lives of people adapted to that topography and the food culture brought from rich fishing grounds are also big attractions. It is a world-class valuable nature spot that simultaneously satisfies scientific curiosity and overwhelming natural beauty.
