Gokurakubashi Bridge

A beautiful wooden-style bridge connecting the Ninomaru and Honmaru over Osaka Castle's inner moat. The current bridge was rebuilt with an image from ancient screen paintings, carrying a sacred atmosphere fitting its name "Bridge to Paradise." A vast 1.7-hectare plum grove along the eastern inner moat of Osaka Castle Park. Approximately 1,200 trees of 100 varieties are planted, blooming from mid-February to early March.
