Located in the mountains of Kita-ku, Kyoto, Haradani-en is a "Cherry Blossom Paradise" open to the public for only a brief period in spring. Hundreds of weeping cherry trees (Benishidare-zakura) fill the approximately 13,000 square meter grounds, blooming with such density that they create a pink dome covering the sky. Its overwhelming volume of flowers makes visitors feel as if they are in another world.
