Located in the southeastern part of Yakushima, "Senpiro Falls" is a signature, magnificent waterfall representing the island, boasting an overwhelming vitality and structural beauty as it thunders down from a massive monolithic granite cliff across a drop of about 60 meters. The bedrock on the left side of the waterfall is said to be wide enough to equal a thousand people spreading their arms wide (approximately 250 meters by 300 meters), earning it its name and utterly awing international tourists with its epic scale sculpted by great nature. From the observation deck, a premium angled view takes in the contrast between the lush primitive forest, pure white rock faces, and the violently crashing white water spray of the falls, serving as a sacred site to experience top-tier nature healing packed with abundant negative ions.
