Beppu Ropeway, located in Beppu City, is a grand scenic ropeway connecting the base of the majestic 1,375-meter Mt. Tsurumi, soaring at the eastern edge of the Aso-Kuju National Park, to near the summit in about 10 minutes, boasting Kyushu's largest scale. Once the gondola with large glass windows jumps into the air, a grand 360-degree panorama view overlooking the Beppu streetscapes, steam clouds, and the blue ocean of the Bungo Channel unfolds, shaking global travelers' souls. The summit area is fully equipped with beautiful stroll paths and observation decks, where you can feel Earth's dynamic life force through seasonal nature like the early summer "Miyama-kirishima" flowers, autumn vivid red leaves, and winter mysterious "frost-covered trees," making it a heart-enriching master spot.
