Hyakken Kiln Site is an exceptionally precious historical ruin from the earliest period between the late Muromachi period and the early Edo period, sleeping within the rich nature of Arita Town. Here, numerous valuable ceramic shards of early Imari and old Karatsu from before Arita ware was fully established have been excavated, vividly conveying the transitions of Japanese ceramic history to the modern era. Strolling slowly around the ruins wrapped in the deep forest's silence makes you completely forget busy city schedules, providing an intellectual and luxurious adult travel moment to immerse yourself deeply in the passion and stories of predecessors who faced fire and earth since ancient times in this region.
