Ishiihiba Park is a history nature park rich in water and green, conveying the history of "Ishiihiba," one of Japan's oldest full-scale flood control facilities built during the Edo period. Through beautiful actual remains and materials, you can closely learn the wisdom and prominent civil engineering technology of great predecessors who controlled the water flow to prevent big floods and bring rich harvests. Pure water flows in the park and seasonal grass and trees are beautifully maintained, allowing for a comfortable stroll within the peaceful time flowing by. Whiling away your time in fresh nature while thinking back to the deep historical stories, you will feel your mind and body gently realigning.
