Kurozo Wetland in Miyoshi City is a rare high-mooor wetland spreading on a mountain at about 550 meters altitude, a mysterious place fittingly called the "Wetland in the Sky." Within the vast 27-hectare grounds, many rare wetland plants and insects live; particularly the tens of thousands of "Sagiso" (fringed orchids) blooming in summer fascinate visitors with their appearance like white birds dancing.
