The "Todoroki Main Fall," the primary waterfall of the "Todoroki Kujyu-kyu Waterfalls" in Kaiyo Town, is Tokushima Prefecture's premier waterfall, dropping 58 meters vertically. Surrounded by sheer giant rock walls, its appearance exudes power and solemnity as if a dragon were ascending to heaven. "Todoroki Shrine" sits right next to the fall, with a sacred air lingering as a site for Shugendo and prayers for rain since ancient times. Reaching the plunge pool, you will be amazed by the overwhelming purification power as you soak in intense spray, the roaring sound, and abundant negative ions. It is one of Shikoku's most powerful spots where you can experience great nature's mysteries up close through fresh green, autumn foliage, or winter freezing.
