Mt. Tsurugi, standing at 1,955 meters, is the second highest peak in Shikoku. While historically a mountain of faith, it is a "heavenly paradise" relatively easy for beginners to climb. Using the mountaineering lift, you can reach near the summit from the mountainside in about 15 minutes and walk along the gentle ridge path. The summit offers a 360-degree unobstructed panorama, overlooking the Seto Inland Sea and the Pacific Ocean on clear days. Legend also says King Solomon's treasure is hidden here, adding a mysterious charm. Rare alpine plants bloom from May to October, allowing you to feel Japan's seasonal changes. It is a sacred site recommended for those seeking a mountain walk filled with spiritual power.
