Hagi Castle Ruins Shizuki Park (Cherry Blossoms)

Developed on the site of the former Honmaru (inner bailey) of Hagi Castle, "Shizuki Park" features beautiful remains of Edo-period stone walls and moats and is designated as a National Historic Site. It is also Hagi's leading cherry blossom spot, where about 600 Somei-Yoshino cherry trees bloom in spring, elegantly coloring the old stone walls and white walls.
