One of the highlights of the Kita-Nagato Coast Quasi-National Park, this is a massive striped rock wall about 15 meters high towering toward the sea. Born from crustal movements tens of millions of years ago and the heat of magma, the geometric cliff where black mudstone and white sandstone overlap alternately is as powerful as witnessing a cross-section of a giant geological layer. The sight of the waves of the Sea of Japan crashing against it is full of dynamism, letting you directly feel the Earth's energy. You can enjoy the overwhelming graphic art drawn by nature while walking on the trail, and it is extremely popular not only for those interested in geology but also for photo enthusiasts seeking spectacular views.
