From winter to spring, over 2 million daffodils fill the entire slope, creating a breathtaking contrast between a carpet of white flowers and the deep blue sea. Furthermore, the "Karato no Jabiwa" (Snake Rock of Karato), a huge dyke shaped like a snake formed by cooled magma, lies at your feet, making it geologically fascinating as well.
