A vast national park spanning Tottori, Shimane, and Okayama prefectures, condensing the diversity of Japanese nature including mountains, highlands, and coasts. In the Tottori area, the dynamic mountain form centered on the famous Mt. Daisen and the beautiful coastline following from it are the main stars. The primeval beech forest, one of the largest in Western Japan, is called the "Forest of Life," and you can experience its rich ecosystem through hiking. It is a world-standard nature resort where you can feel the energy of great nature throughout the year—skiing in winter, fresh green in spring, starry skies in summer, and foliage in autumn—while learning about high aesthetic sense and coexistence to protect Japan's natural environment.
