Located on the east side of the Kamo River, "Miyagawacho" is an emotionally rich Hanamachi with a history closely related to Kabuki performances since ancient times. The rows of teahouse buildings and lanterns hanging from the eaves featuring the emblem of three overlapping rings create a unique and beautiful landscape. The spring dance performance "Kyo Odori" is renowned for its vibrant direction and attracts many overseas fans. Often less crowded than Gion, it is a recommended area for photography enthusiasts to leisurely stroll through the stone-paved alleys and fully appreciate traditional Japanese architectural beauty and refined Hanamachi culture.
