Located in the northernmost part of Mie Prefecture, this park is famous for having the largest plum grove in the Tokai region. In spring, about 100 varieties and 4,000 plum trees color the area in white and pink, and a sweet fragrance drifts all around. In particular, the panorama of the plum grove spreading against the backdrop of the Suzuka Mountains with remaining snow is a spectacular view that can only be seen here. Peonies also bloom beautifully in early summer, and you can purchase fresh local agricultural products unique to an agricultural park. The vast location surrounded by mountains, giving a feel of Japan's original landscape, is ideal for travelers who want to refresh themselves.
