One of Tokyo's oldest and most beautiful daimyo gardens, built in the early Edo period. Based on advice from Chinese scholar Zhu Shunshui, it features "miniature landscapes" of famous spots, blending Japanese and Chinese cultures. The autumn colors are among the best in Tokyo, with historic structures and vivid trees reflecting in the pond.
