The Kawagoeshi Residence Site in Uwato, Kawagoe. It was the home of the medieval Kawagoe samurai clan and is now a National Historic Site developed as a park. It also contains remains of the Uesugi clan's military camp from the Sengoku period, making it a quiet place to feel history.

Once bustling as the former Kawagoe Ginza Shopping District, it became the prefecture's first arcade in 1961. After the arcade was removed due to aging, the area worked to reshape its landscape based on "Taisho Roman Town-building Standards." The resulting unique cityscape features a mix of warehouse-style buildings, traditional townhouses, early Showa-era Western architecture, and three-story wooden structures from the Taisho era.

A hand-carved seal workshop with a long history, founded in 1937 and located mid-way along Taisho Roman Yume-dori Street. First-class carving technicians still produce seals entirely by hand. Reconstructed in 1997, it won the Urban Landscape Point Award for its harmony with Kawagoe's historic scenery.
