Tendai Sect Seiyazan Nakain Temple

Located south of Kitain and adjacent to Prefectural Kawagoe Sogo High School. Founded in 830, it moved to its current location in 1639 after multiple fires and reconstructions. The main hall was rebuilt in 1733. With the modern reconstruction of the Shakado and Yakushido halls, the temple's original three-hall layout is complete.

Semba Toshogu Shrine

Dedicated to Tokugawa Ieyasu, Senba Toshogu was rebuilt in 1640. Its main hall and stone gate are Important Cultural Properties. Known as one of the three major Toshogu shrines alongside Nikko and Kunozan, its colorful buildings are usually kept locked and under management.
