Known as "Benten Yokocho," located north of the "Fuda-no-Tsuji" intersection. The entrance sign retains traces of the former restaurant district. Deep in the alley lies the "Asari Benten Nagaya," said to be over 100 years old, housing three unique spots: "Harema," an architectural office and lab; "Niken-do," a gallery/cafe decorated by its carpenter-owner; and "Gallery Nantouri," a workshop for a textile artist. Each has been renovated to preserve its history, creating retro and original spaces.

These structures were a symbol of status for Kawagoe merchants. From the Taisho era, one can see the era's distinctive architecture, such as the cutting-edge steel-framed reinforced concrete of the former Saitama Resona Bank and townhouses decorated with Western-style finishes like artificial stone wash-outs.
