Located on a plateau 650 meters high with a commanding view of the Aizu Basin, an overwhelming number of flowers bloom here each season. In spring, 3.5 million rapeseed flowers turn the slopes yellow, followed by 2.5 million sunflowers in summer, both offering a spectacular sight reaching toward the blue sky. Cosmos can be enjoyed in autumn, and the contrast between the city below and the sea of flowers above provides a sense of liberation found nowhere else. It is a premier destination for families, couples, and photographers to feel the richness of Fukushima's land.
