The museum on the $3text{rd}$ floor of the building features detailed materials on the history and ecology of the Akita dog. In front of the hall stands a bronze statue of Hachiko, the loyal dog born in Odate, named the "Hachiko Statue of Longing for Home." Furthermore, real Akita dogs are regularly present at the entrance and in the $1text{st}$ floor office.
