Along the embankment of the Shiroishi River flowing through southern Miyagi Prefecture, lies Hitome Senbonzakura (A Thousand Cherry Trees at a Glance), a spectacular spot where approximately $1,200text{ cherry trees}$ bloom over a distance of about $8text{ km}$. As the name suggests, a magnificent view spreads out, allowing you to see a thousand cherry trees at once.In the background of this cherry tree line, the remaining snow on the Zao Mountain Range, the symbol of the Tohoku region, shines brightly.
