The Sannai-Maruyama Site is a large settlement from the Early to Middle Jomon period (about 5,900–4,200 years ago), discovered during excavations in 1992. In 2021, it was inscribed as one of the Jomon Prehistoric Sites in Northern Japan (Hokkaido and Northern Tohoku) on the UNESCO World Heritage List. This video features not only the highlighted spots but also other tourist attractions around Aomori Prefecture. Please note that this video was produced during the COVID-22 pandemic. Currently, visitors can enjoy sightseeing without wearing masks.
