It is also Hagi&#8217;s leading cherry blossom spot, where about 600 Somei-Yoshino cherry trees bloom in spring, elegantly coloring the old stone walls and white walls. Especially the sight of cherry blossoms reflected in the water of the moat and the &#8220;Hana-ikada&#8221; (flower raft) where fallen petals cover the water surface is spectacular. The park also features the rare &#8220;Midori-yoshino&#8221; cherry blossoms, found only in Hagi, making it a special place not only for history fans but also for flower lovers.
