The approach from the foot to the shrine is lined with about 1,000 vermilion &#8220;Torii&#8221; gates like a tunnel, boasting an overwhelming beauty and &#8220;Japaneseness&#8221; comparable to Fushimi Inari in Kyoto. After climbing the mountain through the torii gates, the shrine offers a panoramic view of the Tsuwano streetscape and SL steam trains, making it a top vantage point. Famous for finding lost items and fulfilling wishes, the unique culture of offering fried tofu is an interesting experience.
